Phil brings a combined 15 years of basketball experience as both a player and coach on multiple levels.
Jones served as a fourth season assistant coach for the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats Varsity Assistant Coach and Head JV Coach for the Health Science Charter School in Buffalo, NY. AT HSC, the Falcons have gone to the State Championship for the last three out of five years. For the last 15 years, Jones has also coached on an AAU level, coaching teams such as the GC Ballers, Upstate Basketball Club, Family 25, and Corey Graham Elite. Within those years, he simultaneously coached on a high school level, having coached at Seneca Vocational High School and Oracle Charter School. His coaching career began as a skills and development coach for athletes between the ages of 5-12. He held trainings and development camps nationwide, with a home base in Buffalo, NY. Within his many years of coaching experience at AAU and High School, Phil has trained and coached about 50 players who have received college scholarships for basketball.
Jones played at Seneca Vocational High School from the years of 1995-1999 as both a Point Guard and Shooting Guard. During that time, he obtained two Yale Cup Championships, and he was the All-Time leading scorer at the high school. He also was All-State All-WNY and All-High. He then began his college career as a Point Guard at Monroe Community College. After two years, he led his team to a National Championship and finished in the “elite eight.” After graduating with an Associate’s Degree in History & Government Education, he then transferred to University at Buffalo and played under Reggie Weatherspoon. After a formidable season, he transferred to Daemen College and again went to the National Tournament, this time finishing in the Final Four. This performance led to his induction into the Daemen Hall of Fame. After his college career, Jones played overseas in Seoul, Korea, and Japan.
Jones is currently a Support Staff Specialist at Legends Charter School. He resides in the DC area with his two sons Phil Jr. and Christian.

We are Ashley and Alysha Belle, certified stretch coaches and the founders of Thee Belle Twins LLC. Our mission is to solidify stretching as a priority tool for your health and fitness journey. Our background includes experience in gymnastics, competitive cheerleading, and dance. We finished our cheerleading career at the D1 collegiate level at North Carolina State University and later coached for the USA Gymnastics Girls Team, where we recognized the importance of stretching for the body's longevity. As athletes and coaches, we identified a need that applies to everyone. Our aim is to make stretching a part of everyone's lifestyle that includes all ages, groups, and communities. We offer both private and group sessions, during which we conduct various types of stretches in the form of an active flexibility routine and assisted table stretching. Our group classes currently cater to 15 or more participants. Based on the client’s needs, we tailor the type of stretching to the specific goal they are trying to achieve. Our ultimate goal is to help individuals move better and feel more comfortable during their daily activities.
We specialize in providing active flexibility/ mobility training services. With our extensive experience working with athletes, it is absolutely essential to prioritize injury prevention and reduction as they advance in their athletic careers. Our primary goal is to incorporate stretching into their training and daily routines to help them become superior athletes, tailored to the specific needs of the individual and their sport. As athletes ourselves, we can attest to the benefits of stretching, which enhances flexibility and mobility in the joints, preventing aches, pains, and muscle stiffness/soreness. It also promotes proper alignment, form, and muscle strength, reducing the risk of injuries and improving speed capabilities. Drawing from our experience as former coaches, we firmly believe that stretching is crucial for athletic success.
In our role as financial literacy educators for K-8th graders, we are committed to instilling a deep understanding of the values associated with money and how these values impact their financial decisions. We are dedicated to dissecting the decision-making process and its relevance to financial choices in life. It is imperative to educate students about financial planning and setting goals as they consider various careers and the concept of entrepreneurship. We actively explore different occupations and discuss the potential of starting a small business, equipping kids with invaluable financial knowledge.

Total years of Jeet Kun Do (JKD) experience (concepts & original teaching) 30years…as of today I’m 4th generation 3rd level original JKD student under Luis Sanchez…

Bruce Lee developed an expression of martial arts that was personal to him called Jeet
Kune Do (translated: Way of the Intercepting Fist). The art has as its symbolic representation what we call Bruce Lee’s Core Symbol (see below) and uses as its main tenet: “Using no way as way; having no limitation as limitation.”
The term Jeet Kune Do was coined and put into use in 1967 by Bruce Lee in an attempt to put a name to his martial expression. Lee wrestled with putting a name to his art as he constantly veered away from any type of crystallization (and thereby limitation) of its essence, however, the simple need to refer to it in some concrete way won out and Jeet Kune Do was born.
The idea of intercepting is key to JKD, whether it be the interception of your opponent’s technique or his intent. The basic guiding principles are: Simplicity, Directness and Freedom (the form of no form).
The techniques and philosophies of JKD can be applied to real combat as well as challenging life situations. Jeet Kune Do consists of physical techniques and applied philosophies and requires the individual to train him or herself to their most cultivated state of being-ness so that when faced with a combat situation or a challenging personal situation, the tools needed are available in the moment and can be executed
without thought. Jeet Kune Do celebrates the cultivation and honest self expression of
the individual over any organized style.
“Research your own experience. Absorb what is useful. Reject what is useless. Add what is essentially your own. “ – Bruce Lee
